About Damo & Damo Photography
Who is Damo?
My love for photography has been following through my veins since the age of 17 years old. Starting with my first Nikon Coolpix (point-and-shoot) digital camera trying to take some unique live gig photography. Fun and emotional times.
However, when I bought myself my first Nikon D60 DSLR my whole love of photography, went into overdrive. Now over 20 years of perfecting my craft and over 10 years of professional experience working on many different events including DADA (Liverpool), Euro Cultured (Manchester), many different weddings, and other public and private events.
Photography has always been my passion and I love everything about it, I especially get thrills with mechanical photography (35mm film / chemical darkroom development) and love burning and dodging the light with a good old light projector and some Ilford film paper and 35mm film.
However, everything is digital and all complete commercial/studio photography is just a Nikon D7000 a PC, and a subscription to Adobe CC (Creative Cloud). That is my complete development kit now. Even though I still have a Nikon FM (35mm) film camera, but not have much calling for the classic photography practices that I fell in love with all those years back…
